Supervision

As of May 2024, I am qualified to provide clinical supervision, meaning that I meet the CRPO’s criteria and regulations. I can provide ongoing individual supervision and specific case consultation.

Topics on which I can offer specific case consultation:

LGBTQ+ clients and concerns; working with polyamorous clients; working with clients who belong to the kink community; neurodivergent (ADHD and autistic) clients; somatic attachment therapy; acceptance and commitment therapy.

I am now accepting applications for a student intern for the 2025/2026 school year! Deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.

My Approach/Philosophy

I believe in a process-oriented approach to supervision, meaning that I want to know what is coming up for a supervisee in session with their client, and in the room during supervision.

I think that supervision must attend to both the needs of the supervisee and the needs of the client, as well as the matrix of effect between the two, in order to both aid in the supervisee’s development, and to safeguard the profession. It also needs to be collaborative and attentive to a holistic view of supervisor, supervisee, and client.

Furthermore, I believe that supervision needs to be a space to develop professional identity and self-reflection skills, two extremely important aspects of being a therapist.
