I specialize in working through attachment and embodiment-focused therapies, which means that I want to attune to your experiences and help you better understand what you’re feeling and why. I have a certificate in Somatic Attachment Therapy, which explores using your body sensations to track and regulate your emotions, as well as understanding where our reactions come from.
I also have training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, from which I pull pieces as appropriate, but my general approach to therapy is more around understanding the roots of present experiences and less around symptom management.
